网页2008年11月11日 · Filezilla Server only supports FTP, FTPS and FTPES, no SFTP. SFTP is, unlike FTP(E)S a completely different beast than FTP, it shares nothing but the name with it. Filezilla Client includes part of PuTTY to accomplish SFTP support (FZsftp.exe). The server counterpart would still have to be coded, which will not be anytime soon, if ever.

网页2023年1月11日 · I'm trying to get a WAN connection from a client using WinSCP to my FileZilla Free version SFTP server. I've had a look around and i believe old FileZilla did not support SFTP, but now does? The current setup is client connects to server through WAN or port 2088, this gets dnat translated by the firewall to the server on local port 22.

网页2011年12月14日 · The port 22 you specify for SFTP is the remote port used at the server side. But outgoing local ports at your side are always ephemeral. So, to be correct, you must say: Your machine opens a local ephemeral port, creates an outgoing connection and attaches to the remote server port 22. The port 8888 bounce to loopback is strange indeed.

The OS of the server is Debian 4.19.181-1 (2021-03-19) x86_64. If I could check it in any way - please tell me how and I will do it. I have the root access to it.

网页2013年11月19日 · Port 21 is open on the server When I try to connect I get "Connected, sending welcome message...", but then the client never receives any message and I time out. I've even turned off my firewall on both the client machine and the server, but that didn't help. I can Curl into it from another machine, and transfer files that way, though.

网页2024年3月5日 · Only the old, outdated, and entirely unsupported FileZilla Server 0.9.x versions run on XP. Not only are they insecure, they also do NOT support SFTP (port 22). Only the modern FileZilla Pro Enterprise Server (paid) supports SFTP. The free FileZilla Servers (old and new) only support FTP (and FTPS), running on port 21, not 22.
