2021年2月12日 · I received today and was able to test out the new G5 Odyssey 34" Ultrawide by Samsung. First thing I would like to start of with saying is the CURVE is must, I personally love it! With every other post I could find over this monitor, in which there are not many out yet. People considered this a huge turnoff.

2022年9月29日 · The user manual only lists 60 and 100hz as available options for the hdmi, even at 16:9 1440p size (which hdmi is actually capable of running at 144hz). So it looks like Samsung have limited it here for some reason. I believe you’re pretty much out of luck as far as hdmi is concerned on that monitor.

2021年4月26日 · anything below G7/9 is not worth getting. Samsung's cutline for the premium panel is at G7 so G5 isn't really good product to buy. Samsung CRG9 is a great one to try. it's not the newest shiny one but it was the best monitor I have tried until the Odyssey G9. although the price does up significantly the cheaper option is Gigabyte g34wqc

2021年8月26日 · First monitor was a Viotek GNV34 (100hz) then a Gigabyte GN34 (144hz) and now a Samsung G5 (165hz). The Samsung is by far the best. Second place was the Viotek and last is the Gigabyte. Gigabyte had awful ghosting and made me a little worried before I ordered the G5 but I was pleasantly surprised.

2024年1月12日 · Even if you were to for some reason use a stupid resolution like that, the G5 doesn't support such a resolution, not without black bars. And lastly, that's lower than native resolution, it would absolutely support 144Hz.

Hopefully this will help, my settings are as follows: On the monitor - GAME: Refresh Rate - 120 Black Equaliser (greyed out/off) Response Time - Fastest Free sync - Off Low Input (greyed out) Screen Size - Wide

2021年1月25日 · Edit: Spent an hour on the phone with Samsung and tried a lot of troubleshooting, I work in IT so I had most of their checklist done already. Confirmed that 100hz refresh rate is the only good way to achieve stability without flickering and was issued an RMA, I'll report back once RMA has completed if I remember to do so and share my results.
