Cooper Kupp talked with reporters on Monday to discuss his future with the Rams, but it's becoming more and more apparent that that time should be coming to an end. Sarah Barshop of ESPN broke down the conversation,

Rams veteran Cooper Kupp ominously told ESPN that whether he plays with the Rams next season is “out of his control.” Kupp, who was on the trade block early in the season after a terrible 1-4 start, has two years remaining on his contract and surely will have a market if he becomes available.

In his exit interview Monday, Kupp gave as definitive an answer as he could have when asked about his future in the NFL, leaving no doubt that he’ll be returning for his ninth season as a pro in 2025.

Kupp was referring to the Rams’ conversations about him with other teams ahead of this season’s trade deadline. The 31-year-old receiver and former triple crown winner has been with the franchise his entire career after they drafted him in the third round in 2017.
