Kasey Kahne makes his return to NASCAR in April at Rockingham Speedway. Richard Childress Racing announced Friday that the 14-year veteran driver will drive a third-team entry in the XFINITY Series race at Rockingham.

Kahne has had a diverse NASCAR career, driving for Evernham Motorsports, Richard Petty Motorsports, Red Bull Racing and Hendrick Motorsports. In his 15-year Cup career, he won 18 times and earned four crown jewel victories, including three Coca-Cola 600 wins.
