[FIXED] Sims won't stay in bed - EA Answers HQ
EditI'm having the same problem and it's at the point where my Sim won't stay asleep at all. I have everything except city living, fitness stuff, bowling night stuff, vintage glamour stuff and luxury party stuff. I have no mods or cc. I just got back to playing the Sims when cats & dogs came out.

My brother’s sim was having this issue for him, but we solved it by fixing his uncomfortable moodlets and giving his house a fireplace. The main issues were lack of proper food, he was only eating quick stuff like noodles and cereal and this gave him a bad moodlet, the other issue was him being too cold since it was winter, but a fireplace ...

My sim had a swim in the Baleful Bog, had temporarily become a ghost, then returned to her living form. I'll guess that cyclic moodlet reacting to her own death is a bug, then? It still hasn't left her. Edit for clarity: I notice not every poster is having this issue with occult sims, only. I only ever play them so, tbc, my sim is a caster.

The pop up keeps happening, and the sim does not appear dead to my active sim in any way. If my sim travels to the dying sims household, I see the other sim die, get reaped, and then get up alive repeatedly. The dying sim only actually dies if I swap to their household, and then the pop up about what to do with their ghost appears.

I can’t click on my sim to have any options show up. Example: I can’t self click to change my outfit. But but I hold down shift then click, the options show up for that. What do you expect to see? I would like to see the prompts for clicking on my sim to show up. So if I’m in a different place than my home I’m able to change my outfits.

2025年1月5日 · I had this problem, too. It was right after the Grim Reaper Rewards and the Life & Death pack came out. I did not buy the new expansion. My Realm of Magic sim died, became a playable ghost, ate Ambrosia, and came back to life. She wouldn't stop reacting to becoming a ghost and I could barely get her to do anything, including fulfilling her needs.

2024年12月14日 · This Sim lives alone. No pets or wind chimes or music playing. Or thunder. I found the only thing that worked was to go play another Sim family then return to the original Sim. Then things seemed okay again.

My Sim with maxed thanatology keeps autonomously speaking the dead language to his wife, and it always causes a negative reaction with her. In the attached picture, they had just gone on a date the night before and had maxed pink and green bars and were Very Satisfied in their romance.
