2022年7月2日 · EAS warnings are now in mandatory use by your municipal, county, state, and federal agencies that all use their own access to the station's servers. They are required to do the tests at various hours. We are far away from it being used primarily for weather alerts.

2020年11月17日 · The messages can be disabled on your phones, but they cannot be disabled on the X1 devices - the Illinois State Police activates the EAS system to broadcast the Amber Alert messages, and it's illegal (as far as I know) to block or otherwise defeat an EAS message from being displayed.
