I've been using your archived wordle and I love it!!! One request: on wordle there is ability to play using "hard mode" which requires player to use any revealed hints in subsequent guesses. I'd like to practice using hard mode on some older puzzles and thought your archive would be perfect for that. Either way, thank you for the archive!!

Mar 8, 2022 · The ranking algorithm for this list is based on 3Blue1Brown's video about solving Wordle using information theory. It is the top 100 first guess words that are expected to produce the most information after your first two guesses. While all of these words are valid guesses, not all of them are possible solutions.

ADIEU is VERY over-rated as a starting word. Instead, try SALET, CRANE, or ROATE. On the average, you will be left with 123.7 words remaining after you play ADIEU. Instead, use SALET (71.3) or CRANE (78.8) or ROATE (60.5) Always different starts. Lately I’m using “nature” words like copse or Marsh or xylem or acorn.

The only way to see your exact guesses for previous days is if you save them yourself (by posting here in the daily thread, or on Twitter or just saving them on your phone or computer). 2.
