Xfinity cable box not processing Dolby Digital Surround...
2022年6月10日 · In fact it's gotten even worse, as the Xfinity Paramount Plus app joins the list of apps that only broadcast stereo sound, despite showing as being in Dolby 5.1 Surround. And the fabled Xfinity "Advanced Repair Team" has never gotten back to me about anything, which is just as I expected. Truly terrible customer service.

2017年8月4日 · Has anyone ever gotten Atmos to work with the Xfinity X1 system? I recently installed the XG1v4 box and set my HDMI setting to Auto (Dolby Digital 5.1) and Expert, but neither seem to work. The one Atmos Leaf trailer is an ancient 4:3 commercial for some technical institute and the other plays back in 5.1.

2018年8月25日 · One thing when I swapped the box was I had to remember to go back and reprogram a number of buttons. For example, the menu button defaults to Xfinity button, but the dvr button is not associated. I set the dvr button to also be the xfinity button. Redundant, but better than a null button.

I upgraded to a Denon AVR-X3700H receiver about 3 weeks ago. Since then, I've been experiencing what I think is random loss of signal from the cable box to the AVR.

2013年7月28日 · The only commands I cannot achieve are Power On/Off. Door open/door closed makes no difference! My remote is is the Harmony Touch. I have not been able to find anything about adjusting the X1 remotes to function as either IR or RF. The Xfinity remote works like an RF, very fast with either doors open/closed.

2014年12月21日 · My house is currently wired with the Xfinity X1 HD service and the fastest Internet speed they offer in my area which is 105mbps. The service tech has the main RG6 cable coming into the basement then it splits off of an Extreme 2 way splitter. They are -3.5db on the output sides. From there 1 goes to the bedroom and 1 goes to the living room.
