Alternatives to air mattress for temporary/storable bed?

2024年6月27日 · Most college mattresses are plastic covered so they can be disinfected, so not quite the ick-factor of a cloth covered mattress. That said, they can get hot/sweaty/uncomfortable without a mattress pad because you basically have a thin fitted sheet right over the plastic.

I know it isn’t ideal to have kids share their room; but this is temporary; have a blown up mattress in one of their rooms or playroom as you mentioned that is a possibility. So you can use kid room as your early morning/evening space for your meetings.

I would think that is the least that you can do if you can’t use your bedroom or your DH’s office space for the early morning meetings. I would make a temporary work space in your bedroom if that is a better option than going to the office.

2024年7月10日 · I can see both sides depending on the kid. One friend of DS did not care, and his mom bought everything for the dorm room. DS cared about the comforter and the sheets so he bought those on Amazon. I purchased the mattress pad and the kitchen gear. I used the lists posted here and he had medical kit, took kit, and basic cleaning supplies.

2023年9月21日 · My bedroom- 2 cotton, one flannel. I have extra quilts on the kids beds but haven’t gotten them flannel sheets. Dh and I however love ours. Our room is usually freezing though, in the winter, so we need flannel sheets. And the heated mattress pad.
