Head stamp is 311 93 For 5$ a box.

Even so it was inexpensive and mainly because not many 7.62x39 rifles were around other than some Chinese SKS and AK's and a few Mitchells and Hungarian AK's. 8 to 10 cents a round in 1985 or so is 20 to 25 cents today and not far from some current low end ammo prices.

2021年8月6日 · It's a toss-up. Steel core has better penetration through cover (not armor) and flat based M-67 style lead core has better terminal performance in flesh as it yaws sooner. As for value, I've shamelessly sold it for $2.00 per round in the past. Realistically it probably $.50-$1.00 per round to the right person.

2014年2月1日 · If the rounds have a red primer seal they are non-corrosive. Keep in mind that this ID feature ONLY applies to Chinese 7.62x39mm from factory "71" made in the 1980's and 1990's. Judging by the looks of the box style, the rounds will have a clear seal, indicating the probability of a corrosive primer. But you never know with the Chinese.

2019年11月2日 · I have shot thousands of rounds of mostly silver box Norinco 7.62x39, mainly if the boxes were damaged from poor storage and some of the copper washed rounds might have patina forming. Have not had any corrosion, even after a month sitting in my rifle bags uncleaned.

2023年11月12日 · Can’t help you on current prices, but I bought my Norinco 56S in 91-92 and bought a wooden crate of the China Sport in the silver boxes for $96 delivered. 72 boxes of 20 rounds works out to $1.33 a box 32 years ago. I don’t see it being worth $10-$11 a box, but this isn’t 1992, either. Chris.

2024年4月20日 · Shot a few cases over the years. I still have one unopened virgin full wood crate left. My earlier crates and this crate are marked Norinco and 1100 rounds and contain 2 spam cans with 550 rounds each for total of 1100 rounds also as stated on good quality stripper clips and 3 -10 round strippers per wrapped package. Oh, that smell.
