Dec 13, 2019 · Recently, I noticed the Windows 10 default photo app "Photos" crashes. It doesnt matter if I use it to open an image, or if just try to open it by double clicking the app. I finally got annoyed enough to look into it. This appears to be a bug that has been around for at least a year.

May 18, 2016 · My suggested edit is to first install the Preferred PDF reader (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) and then set the PDF default as the PDF reader should show up in the list you show. My Outlook just recently started losing its mind and did not find a reader even though MS Edge had recently been set (likely by the system) as default. Changing to Chrome did work.
