Anyone else with Michelin CrossClimate 2 on Model X
2023年5月18日 · It was just two Rear put in yesterday -- I did not drive much but the family said some noise is still there vs OEM tires. I didn't feel much as I didn't sit in the middle row nor drove much. I'm awaiting the Front CrossClimate 2 tires: 265/45R20 as it's expected to arrive today or tomorrow in the tire shop.
7.4% range loss after Michelin CrossClimate2 tires
2012年10月21日 · I have 7000 miles on Michelin CrossClimate2 tires and have experienced a 7.4% range loss compared to OEM tires. This is with 18” Aero wheels. I’m at 260 Wh/mi since the swap. I thought CrossClimate2 are supposed to be high efficiency grand touring tires? I definitely wasn’t expecting to see such a large range hit.

2017年8月10日 · Currently I'm running cc2 on the front and Michelin Latitude Sport on the rear. The rears are just because the camber is wrecking my tires within 5-10k before I get the new adjustable arms on. The fronts are great, they have about 11k on them, great wear, noise isn't as bad as the CC SUV I had on before and efficiency seemingly makes no odds.

2022年1月23日 · Before next winter comes, I'd like to switch from the OEM 19" Continental to Michelin Cross Climate 2. Unfortunately, the exact same size isn't available. I've also noticed that 235/50-R19 is available. Compare to the stock 245/45-R19, the diameter difference is only +1%, similar XL rating and this tire is V-rated.

2018年10月19日 · A real tip off about the differences in these tires is when you look at the cross climate sizes available you will see there is only one instance of a 40 series Tire, and no 35 or 30 series tires are available at all. On the other hand the listing for the Pilot Sport 4 all season is littered with ultra-high-performance aspect ratios and sizes.

2018年10月10日 · Cross Climates on our Model 3 are not as impressive as my Michelin X-Ice equipped ten year old hybrid "beater", but they are far, far better than the OEM MXM4s I put up with through two Maine winters. If you are like me and hate the bi-annual tire/wheel change ritual, then the Cross Climate + is a reasonable choice.
Michelin Crossclimate2 in snow: as good as putting on tire cables?
2018年10月19日 · Cross climate 2 is great but still not as good as X Ice (no surprise there really). So it's obviously much worse than tire chains/cables in very deep snow. I wouldn't use chains unless there's more than 6" of unplowed snow/ruts (for a RWD, I'd go as deep as 9-10" for AWD) + lots of uphill section + speed lower than 20 mph.
