Less light and they get leggy, more and they get a bit slightly burned on the leaves, But when my current supply of 5000k bulbs wear out, I am going to LED tubes. They aren't much more expensive now, but apparently they last several years.

It is expensive, but it's worth it. I also bought a couple 75w Philips Agro-Lite (Plant Light). It burned the leaves easily. It is only supposed to be used for 3 hours each time.

Some people will use those 4 bulb, 4' fixtures and put 2 or 3 6500K and 1 or 2 4500 K fluorescent bulbs in them for a broader spectrum.
