2023年10月9日 · I use an AudioLab 6000a amp with a Wiim Mini and LS50 Meta in a 4m by 5m room. It produces an incredibly realistic sound, quite amazing. Shops like Seven Oaks do a speakers plus amp deal that is a steal, if you have one nearish to audition.

That amp is discontinued and I wouldn't recommend it over modern options, but I would say that amount of power is about right. The Meta's also drop down to around 4ohms under some circumstances so you want an amp that is stable at 4ohm.

2022年3月25日 · Two simple things to look for in the specs are 1) a doubling of the wattage output between 8 and 4 ohm loads e.g. 50w into 8ohm and 100w into 4 ohms and 2) a damping factor of over 150. The closer you can get to those specs the better.

I have paired with musical fidelity m5si which is great companion for ls50 meta. I would personally stay away from integrated amps. Most of them lack proper bass management and room correction. For a stereo setup I would always go for a minidsp flex and a good power amp like a hypex nc252mp for example.

I am a BluOS fan and don't want to change that for sure. What amp/dac combo should I choose: Arcam SA20 - probably the best price.
