2017年1月20日 · With the regular CDS dial that comes with your scope it doesn’t have a zero stop or lock but you can easily make it a zero stop. It literally took me about 10 minutes. All you need is a drill bit and little 1/16”ball bearing. Once you zero your scope/rifle you mark it and then remove the CDS dial and drill a small indentation in the CDS dial.

I tightened the allen screws and it seems to work properly, ie: it spins and I hear clicks. My CDS dial does not have the silver zero-stop button. My questions are: 1.

2018年5月20日 · I am looking to buy a new scope for my Remington 700 .300 Win Mag, and have been looking at scopes compatible with Leupolds' CDS System. I currently have a Nikon Monarch 3x9x40 with the BDC system and am not the biggest fan of the BDC. I have done some research on the Leupold Scopes but not a ton and am on the fence about using a custom dial.

2018年6月28日 · I recently received my CDS dial from Leupold. I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon (about 200 feet about sea level). My CDS dial is set for 5,000 ft of elevation because I hunt on the east side of Oregon. Leupold tells me that there is a 2,000 foot buffer for my ammunition (3,000 to 7,000 feet).

2004年11月15日 · I submitted the info for my free dial 8/7, they emailed an invoice last week that lists 4 item numbers with different delivery dates. I'm assuming I ordered the item listed as VX2-Custom Dial which shows a Req/Sched Date of 8/30 and a Prom Date of 9/13. There was no info in the email, just the attachment.

2018年2月25日 · The CDS system is custom to Leupold and is based on the exact bullet/cartridge you are shooting. Given, elevation, caliber, muzzle velocity, ballistics/drop at 2,3,4,5,6 yards, elevation of scope mounted above the rifle. Leupold builds a "Custom Dial System" based on those particulars for your rifle/caliber.

Leupold CDS problem? Base problem? - Hunt Talk
2012年2月23日 · Well I tried the two piece Leupold base and ring combo and it worked great for adjusting the windage but I lost ground on the verticle adjustment even with the reticle in the center of the scope. Once zeroed at 100 the dial will only turn to the 400 yard mark. I need the long range one piece base that has 15 MOA slope to get out to 550 yards.

2017年10月30日 · I got my new Leupold VX5-HD a couple months ago and have it sighted in tight at 100 yards. It's sitting atop a Ruger American Predator in 6.5CM. I've tried some of the more expensive ammo from Nosler, Hornady, Sierra, and Federal in different weights, but I have found the best groups I get are with Hornady American Whitetail 129 grain ammo.
