2024年5月29日 · I have new seals, but I was going to wait till fall since I;m just getting a little film on the right fork so far. I'll have to see how I feel about that after I do the clutch. I finally bought bike stands after riding for 32 years lol. I have a pretty heavy duty hydraulic bike lift I made from a used industrial scissor lift.

2009年3月11日 · You know fellas, I'm having the exact same problem on my 05 600. Coming off of a long ride cruising, highway speed, bike just shuts off. No warning, No FI code, nothing. Now I've got to cross five lanes to get to the right shoulder with no power. Usually I can turn the key off, then back on and the bike starts right up.

2009年8月18日 · I bought a gixxer 600 as my first bike and while it is an incredibly fast bike every "incident" that I have had in five years has had nothing to do with speed. It always had to do with some a-hole and a car. Just because your bike is fast does not mean you are not guaranteed to run it up a tree or bin it into the back of a uhaul.

Does the bike CHARGE the battery while at idle?
2011年2月9日 · Above 2800rpm, the stator is producing enough power for the bike, and possibly .5-1 amp additional, which can then charge the battery. So, starting and running the bike at idle is not going to charge the battery at all, and will in fact drain the battery over time.

2017年10月26日 · It sounds like a vacuum line to the intake air pressure sensor may be disconnected or leaking. Note that the vacuum line actually is a manifold of rubber hoses (7) and plastic tees (3). They all have to be connected and not leaking. It would be informative to connect the bike to SDS as it displays the pressure.

2020年4月24日 · It,s solid, you have to take both up together, but you see the tie-downs up to the rafters for safety. This lift is to service swingarm/ link bearings and steering head. I brought this bike with 55,000 k's on it. Need to go through everything and start a maintenance log book. Swingarm / Link play and steering head feel good, but have to come apart.
