Bought my 17 Rebel in San Antonio and had my service air suspension light come on and go off twice while under warranty; dealer service couldn't find anything. I drove it up to Alaska where it has now totally failed; message comes up to service/repair air suspension immediately!

2023年7月26日 · I Live in Canada and operate a5th gen limited with air suspension all year round without problems, currently at 50k and had a ram rebel for about 35k both were smoother then other trucks ive driven by a good margin. The air suspension is smoother overall smoother by a large margin but for being off-road tuned the rebel was still fantastic.

2023年4月11日 · The air suspension is great if you tow a lot. It’ll auto level the bed. At highway speed it lowers the front an inch to improve fuel economy. Entry and exit mode is nice for short girlfriends Cons: Relies on a very expensive compressor, made out of thermoplastic. Has frequent failures in the cold weather.

2023年4月7日 · After doing some research, I decided to convert the air suspension to a traditional spring and shock setup using the Monroe conversion kit. I was skeptical at first, but the kit restored the factory ride height and delivered a smooth and comfortable ride. Not to mention, it was significantly cheaper than replacing the air suspension system.

2021年4月8日 · It's growing on me, though. Love the truck. Air suspension has been fine so far, but I got this on the tail end of winter, so I don't know how it's going to work next winter. 4th gen air ride issues seem to be a lot more common than 5th gen, though. Might just be age.

2019年10月19日 · I just purchased a '20 Ram Laramie with air. The ride quality is pretty amazing. One of the other advantages is that the suspension lowers on the highway to help improve fuel economy and you can raise it up for light offroading to gain some added clearance.

I read through here a little and it seems like cold climates causes issues, however I live in Phoenix arizona so the coldest it gets here is 40 degrees in the winter. The truck currently has 44,500 miles if that makes a difference.

2022年3月23日 · Went into the suspension settings on the Uconnect screen and put the suspension into wheel alignment mode which forced the suspension to raise to the appropriate height. Turned it back off once it reached the normal height. I started driving and, once the truck warmed up, the suspension buttons started working again.

2023年4月10日 · I just recently made the change, have a 2016 rebel, never cared for the ride of the air system and looked all around for the best ways to do it. If your going stock or lifted there’s a few options. Personally I did the air delete.com swap with a 3 inch lift.
