NEED HELP - DADO Throat Plate Insert for 10" Craftsman Table Saw
2013年4月15日 · Hello,I am a fairly new and somewhat inexperienced woodworker, but I am slowly getting into it. I recently obtained an older Craftsman 10" Table Saw Model " 137.218030 from my father, and wanted to do some Dado cuts. The manual suggests not using a Dado Blade larger than 6" in diameter, so I ordered one from Craftsman.

2008年1月29日 · I have an older Craftsman table saw. It's good, reliable, accurate, and old. It was made by King-Seeley, now Emerson, for Sears in the early 50's. 2010年4月1日 · I just tackled that on my craftsman saw for a panel guide. The guides width is an odd ball size for sure. I used a combination of a router table and a straight bit to make the upside down T and ran the bottom over the table saw with just a smidge of blade raised and ran it just off center and flipped it so I could fit over that ridge in the bottom.

2010年12月2日 · The Craftsman/Ridgid contractor saws were like this, less than 1/4" thick where the insert sat on the table. It can still be done but it's more challenging. If you do make your own, I'd suggest making a few. A couple zero clearance, maybe one with the blade tilted 45 degrees, a few for various width dado cuts etc.
