2021年1月18日 · I'm wanting to do away with the lly in my c5500 and replace it with a 12v cummins. Putting the motor in, bolting it to the trans and making it run are simple enough. What will it take to get the allison to work with the 12v? How well does the allison hold up without defueling for shifts if the cummins is making the same 300hp the duramax does?

May experience delay or "Hanging" upshifts when not using Tow/Haul. The coolant temperature gauge in the IPC may read cold.

2009年4月9日 · the allison 1000 and 2000 series very similar; many parts are interchangeable. Same case, clutches, as far as I know. The 2000 series has slightly lower ratios in all the gears to allow for a higher weight capacity; ie, a 2000's 5th gear is .74. A 1000's is .71, etc... The allison 2400 is the only 2000 series that has a park pawl IIRC.
