Looks. 20% or darker: Limo, illegal activity look. 30% or lighter: Subtle, classy look. Heat Rejection. 20% or darker: usually better/higher. 30% or lighter: usually less.

2007年8月5日 · I wanted to see some photos of 30% or 40% in a similar ceramic type tint. I found a few on the board but none on a dark car like mine. Anyone with photos to share would be greatly appreciated. Current Stable: 2006 BMW M5 SMG - My daily driver. 2002 Porsche 911 Cab 6sp- Wife's daily driver.

2020年5月3日 · Since I’m in NJ where it’s illegal to tint the front windows, I decided to leave OEM the rears and do Xpel Prime XR Black 30% for the Front and Xpel Prime XR Black 70% for the front windshield. Very happy with getting the windshield done. Total cost was $335 (front and ws).

2021年1月30日 · Here in Virginia (which is generally viewed as a conservative state), the legal limit for the front side windows is 50%. For the rear side and back windows, it is 35%. I think it is unlikely anyone on this forum will have 70% tint on their front side windows for you to view/compare. Most are doing 30-35%.

2019年12月4日 · I wanted to tint only for heat/UV rejection but want the visibility especially from the rear window. (i tend to look for "fast moving Dodges" just out of habit). Aesthetics baah, #stealth lifestyle. I originally was going to ceramic tint 35% on only the 6 side windows but now am thinking it may be to dark and just draw unwanted attention.

2019年5月2日 · Ceramic tint doesn’t need to be as dark because it works so well. That's interesting. Ceramic tint is new to me, but I found this: "Ceramic window-tinting film cuts from 45% to 50% of the solar heat that enters through the windows in the form of infrared light, while allowing maximum visibility both by day and night."

2010年6月22日 · i want to tint my eclipses windows. the state law here in Indiana is 30% sides and back..and as1.. so ive been looking at pictures of both 20% and 30% and decided that 20% would look better. im still debating because i dont want a ticket or to scrape my tint off when i get pulled over for too...

2022年10月6日 · When comparing window tint specs - TSER - Total solar energy rejected - the real value to compare window tint. 70% - 80% Windshield (Basically clear - but rejects 40% of the heat and 99% UV). 30% Driver + Passenger Door. 20% - All windows behind the driver (35% if the windows have have factory tint - like the model Y).
