However, as long as the Loctite is applied carefully so it doesn't get into the mating surface, it doesn't hurt anything. And I repeat: an impact wrench will buzz flywheel bolts held with red Loctite right back out, no sweat.

2022年2月23日 · you should use the blue colored loctite. it's relatively easy to remove a bolt etc with the blue. the red colored loctite is much more permanent. Use that when you never want to separate two things again. And, oddly, blue loctite can come be in a red bottle and red loctite can come in a blue bottle. Go by the color of the liquid, not the bottle.

2023年2月3日 · Which transmission, which thread sealant, and how much did you apply? I typically use the Permatex high temp thread sealant on the 2nd and 3rd thread of the NSG370 manual transmission drain plug every 30,000 miles when I change the fluid, and have never had difficulty removing the plug.
