2017年1月5日 · I can cruise all day at 55 mph with a 13/50 setup. The stock TW will cruise all day at 60 mph.... (in flat country). Although these speeds, which equate to about 8,000 RPM (1,500 below redline), will not hurt the engine in the short term, they will accelerate wear to some degree, as well as oil consumption.

2020年5月29日 · Top speed with me 218lbs at northern Utah elevation with stock sprockets 62 mph. Takes about 25 seconds to get there. A little faster with a tailwind. Max RPM is when you feel the vibration start to rattle the earth. One does not care about 0-60, or top speed when purchasing a TW. That is not what it's intent or design is. I've never hit 60.

The range of the TW was about 100-140 miles, so carrying fuel or good planning would be an important part of adventure travel on this motorcycle.
