Sep 5, 2018 · The tubing has holes in it as does the kayak and I bolt the tubing across the kayak behind me whenever I am going to use the trolling motor. I actually use a very light 10 lb thrust vintage minn kota trolling motor for the Kayak. I also shortened the shaft on it. Motor may be 12 inches from the rear of the kayak when mounted. Works well.
