Mar 10, 2017. #3. The M&P R8 and the M327 TRR8 are meant for comfortable all day carry because of the Scandium Alloy frame. If you're not going to carry it all day you can save some money with the M627 PC even though it's not all that much. If I were to buy the alloy revolver I also like the TRR8 better than the R8.
