I’m looking into adding more BS booster boxes but looking at the chase cards, Lugia V is going for ~$400 in a PSA 10 and a Charizard V is going for ~$300 in a PSA 10 which makes me want to go for a Silver Tempest Booster box.

CGC is still very new (less than 2 years) and mostly specialize in lower value slabs due to their pricing when PSA and BGS were closed for new submissions.

All grading companies would be extremely hesitant to say a card is a pristine 10 buy judging the card through case then crack the case and say oops sorry its not a 10.

2020年11月10日 · I guess people will start putting in the effort to rebuild PSA cases around fake cards to try and rob poor slobs of a few grand. This actual reminds me of how back in the early 2000s the community had a problem with fake first edition stamps being applied to real shadowless cards.

As this is an investment sub, I took a gamble and went with CGC Pristine 10 over a PSA 10. CGC cost me about $50 more, but I think the Pristine 10 holds a little more value in the court of public opinion in the long run plus I like the look of it better than PSA’s “classic” red border slabs.

2023年3月10日 · You can look at PSA 9s hardly fetching a premium anymore because there are so many 10s in circulation. Look at the rainbow Zard from Champions Path, psa 9s going for 100-150 and PSA 10s going for 350-400 on average. Just a year ago the same PSA 10 charizard was going for over $500 easily.
