Played Crystal with IDs endinng in 1 and 2. Don't know if it's the rom but Ilex Forest trees don't seem to work in general, but I have gotten rare Pokemon in the 9 and 2nd 8 to the right of headbutt TM even if the encounter rate itself is low.

2015年10月12日 · The first [map height x map width] bytes of the .map file it exports are the block data though, you'd just have to get rid of the rest. Anyway, this is probably what I would do regardless (ignore the previous paragraph I guess). Have a separate pokemon crystal base rom that you only use to edit map layouts.

That is absolutely correct, but once you've encountered them once and they fled / roared you, you can use the Pokédex to track them on the map, via the '' Area '' function either on Entei or Raikou entry. The thing though, is as soon as you change area / route, they change location.

2019年1月23日 · It's not quite Gen 3's Advance Map: there's only one layer of tiles (although "tile priority" can kind of fake an overhead layer), 256 tiles is still fewer than 1,024, and maps are designed in blocks of 4x4 tiles instead of 2x2 (even though NPCs walk around on a 2x2 tile grid). And of course there are only 8 palettes of 4 colors each.
