2022年1月25日 · In the JBL system, the head unit isn’t actually driving the speakers. It’s not actually putting out any power at all. All it’s doing is sending a data signal to the JBL amp back by the subwoofer. This data signal is the radio sending the audio signal, as well as telling the JBL amp how to set the EQ and fade/balance.

2019年7月3日 · I recently auditioned and decided to keep a pair of JBL Studio 590s. They are incredible towers and I'm in love with their sound. When I purchased them, I grabbed a JBL Studio 520c also, thinking I would need a matching center channel for that cohesive, timbre matched front sound stage. Unfortunately, the 520c sounds almost nothing like the 590s.

2020年10月6日 · My head unit is not JBL and I think puts out about 18 watts per channel. The speakers are 75 watts RMS. Amazingly the head unit powers the speakers just fine and I haven't installed an amp. Probably will one day. The JBL speakers are the same crappy speakers in the non JBL systems. The JBL system simply gives more speakers and more watts.

2021年5月11日 · Got a bit scared when I hooked them up. Right speaker had no sound. Wiggled the wire to see if it made contact and nope. Had to lay it on the ground again and wiggled and nada. Then I took them out I heard sound. Took them out and put them in and they worked. Phew. Still listening and treble is smooth and not spikey.

2020年1月5日 · According to these diagrams, the non-JBL system has the series wired front speakers and the JBL system is an 8 channel setup - 2 tweeters, 2 front wooers, 2 rear mids, and the sub running off the last two channels. Of course, there's always a chance the JBL system changed from year to year and I do not have diagrams for every year.
