The other portraits will then give something to either distract the book or harm the book and this will take a heart a way from the book each time. Once the book is hurt, go back to the portrait by the bed and fix it again, rinse and repeat until the book is tamed!

Shoot the painting of the red wizard. When the dresser spits the book back out, wait for the prompt and press Z to damage it. Get back on the bed and WL the first painting again.
