I know that much of this info has been covered here before, but I needed my first real thread to be about something. I will be using the hitch on my JD 2305. I purchased hitch 97214, the 27 ¼” wide category 1 hitch.

Harbor Freight 3pt quick hitch. What am I doing wrong?
2018年4月28日 · Yes, the box blade is cat 1. It's not the lower pin spacing that's the problem. In fact, when you try and attach it, you can see the lower pins/JD quick hitch adapters just waiting to slide into the hooks on the quick hitch. The problem is that the upper hook doesn't reach far enough from the quick hitch to let the top link pin slide on.

2011年7月25日 · On the HF adapter, call HF Parts & Service (800.444.3353) and ask for part #29309-0VGA. I believe they call it a "floating top link adapter". It was also described in another place as "#93691 Hitch Adapter". Key thing, though, is to call HF Parts/Service. The stores & website likely won't be any help.

2011年4月9日 · Installed the HF quick hitch w/ adapter and now my box scraper does not go down as far even when I let it down as far as it will go. Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions appreciated. Before I put it on it would cut down into dirt so far it would stop the tractor now it just skips across the dirt.
