2013年9月27日 · -I dont see anywhere on my gear box where its stamped 265/5, and I still dont understand why the dogleg gearbox is called a 265/5. -The part number on my box starts with 262, although from what Ive read, this is common and I should disregard that part number as the dogleg units were built in other stamped casings. Any help would be great.

2008年6月18日 · The dogleg 265 (M3/M535) gearbox is stout, but the small dogleg 245 (323i) is not going to handle a lot of power. Most importantly, it's going to depend completely on how you drive the car--people kill drivelines, not horsepower. I use a 260 behind my 3.0 M50, and it's been great for 4 years and 85,000 miles of pretty hard use.

2017年2月16日 · The g420 from the e46 m3 has almost the exact same ratios as the coveted 265/5 dogleg. Seriously. 265/5 with a 4.10 vs g420 with a 3.25 is off by 1 mph in 2nd, 2mph in 3rd, and 4 mph in 4th, and the trend continues simarly. I want a g420 on my M20. E36 M3 auto driveshaft, what else is required? Can an e46 clutch be used with an m20 flywheel?

They went ahead and stuck the M90 in the E12 M535i with the same dogleg gearbox, brakes, 3.07 LSD to get the first front engined M car-- the E12 M535i. 2014年8月12日 · The sport transmission you're referring to is the dogleg transmission which is rare, expensive, and was not offered in the US. The 325iS had the same transmission as the 325i. There is also no such car as a 323iS.
