Luckily I found a friend who was willing to put them in his basement, but otherwise I would have gone with the tire shop's offer. Try a few tire shops. Reply.

My list of problems in no particular order: - Wet snow/sleet – Frozen to the car. - Left sitting to long – Frozen to car + now solid ice - Extreme cold (ie: -30) so rigid it would not fold easily
