Thoughts on the BFG Ko2 - Tacoma World
2018年1月14日 · Have about 5k miles on a set of 265/75r16 BFG AT KO2s. Haven't had the chance to run them through snow yet (waiting for Colorado to get the act together already). My Tacoma is a daily driver, so I didn't wanna drop money on a set of over-aggressive tires. These do well on pavement and have done well on dry offroad trails in the Rockies.

I was getting an oil change at the dealer and asked the guy at the desk for an estimate to do the work. He told me they were "too heavy" and that the weight of the tires would be too much for the drive-train. And for a Tacoma and recommended something else.

2019年4月1日 · I had BFG KO2’s on my 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport. Best tires I have ever had. Of course, they replaced some of the worst tires I’ve Ever had...the stock Dunlop (garbage tires, IMO). Didn’t think the BFG’s were too stiff or loud at all. They were heavier and dropped my avg mpg’s from 18 to 16 (I’m mostly city).

2017年1月12日 · If I could do it again I'd find C-rated KO2's. I lost about 1mpg. I'm also a chronic lead footer. I've been consistently getting 16.5mpg on the KO2 E-rated. R17s with Ultra Bent Rims I'd say mine probably weigh close to 60lbs each tire/rim combo. Saying an E-rated tire is "too much" for a taco is a little over the top though.

2016年9月20日 · Realize it is an effect of which side the tire is installed on the vehicle (passenger or driver side), but curious if it makes a difference and if BFG intended certain tires to be installed on the passenger side and others on the driver side.

2018年11月12日 · In lieu of this fantasy, we pay our money and take our chances. But sometimes what works best, is hard to accept. With that, the KO2's are probably an average winter performer on this weight of vehicle, average meaning there are some better and some worse - other "C" rated or "P" rated options would likely be better "winter" performers. FWIW. YMMV.

2016年6月27日 · I spoke with BFG customer service (1 (877) 788-8899) last week about the cracks and they took the claim, asked that I go back to the shop that sold them to me and have them inspected. Guys took a look, were completely surprised but said yeah this isn't right, called BFG and about 10 minutes later the warranty was approved 100% replacement.
