2008年2月1日 · The primer has Aluminum in it and is what gives the corrosion resistance, and some build as well. I did 2 coats of primer and one coat of paint with a sponge brush as reccommended. The paint is very thick as well, almost like a molasses.

Paint doesn't make it go. Seems to me that fancy paint is getting into decorator territory, matching the drapes to the rug, not a passtime for manly men.

2006年1月22日 · Wire brush any loose rust off, use the Rustoleum rusty metal primer with a brush on the rusty stuff, bare metal primer on the new stuff or painted stuff, then two coats of rustoleum paint with a brush as top coat. I did a trailer that way about 10 years ago, and the paint is still looking fine (dark green). It was an old rusty boat tilt trailer.

I have seen this often than the top painted surface is cooler than the rest of the green painted area many times. Looking at these posts in the daytime the lower portion with the green paint looks much darker than the lighter painted tops.

This mix works best hot (fresh), will stick to vertical surfaces, and lift paint in under an hour.

Unfortunately I also ended up removing a layer of paint from the sanding, but didn't see any other way to remove the silicone.
