2017年9月19日 · yes the equinox was mentioned in the OP, and ive already looked at the subaru crosstech - not as good mileage wise as nissan rogue hybrid (test driven both) but the subaru has better ground clearance and good host of aftermarket parts so seriously looking into the crosstech, just want to make sure there are not better options (as crosstech only 26-33mpg).

At the same time, Jeep Cherokee or Santa FE is just 40 $ more (which is also affordable). Money is not a very big decision factor here. My first day will have 12 hours driving.

2011年8月24日 · Everything else points to AWD in a higher compact SUV which can tow moderate weights and handle safer in slippery conditions than any FWD car made. The most efficient in standard non hybrid form is the RAV. Even the V6 gets over 25mpg highway. You can get 26+ mpg in a 6 cyl 4 Runner on the highway which tows 5000 lbs and is very comfortable.
