5800x - adjusting PPT/TDC/EDC Limits on PBO got me minimal
Hey thanks dude, I have a 5800x, 3090 FE, B550 Gaming Pro Carbon, NZXT Z63 AIO, 64gb 3600mhz Trident Z RAM, P500A stock with no additional fans. Prior to updating the PPT, TDC, and EDC numbers to your settings I was getting about 85-90c on Cinebench 23 and now I'm getting around 75, so quite the improvement with little to no change in score.

2023年9月4日 · The 5800x gives outstanding gaming performance at $200 and while the 5600x is cheap I get a ton more performance out of the 5800x(and it really is a reasonable value proposition now) like the 5600x was made out of the lowest tier/quality silicon when binning but the 5800x seems to be half a 5950x to that end.

I did this actually. I bought a msi gaming x 970 and I get 450 fps with a 5800x and I have a dark rock 4 pro on it with 2x8gb cl16 3600mhz rams.

Running Windows 10, all appeared to be working unitil I tried to watch YouTube and the video started stuttering. Mine tops out at 4.625 at something over 1.3vcore. It runs extremely hot at these settings regardless of cooling solution so I daily 4.375 @ 1.23125 and get virtually identical gaming performance.
