Therefore: Setup two process (for PLA and TPU) and When at the desired Layer/Z-height, manually trip the switch. Change the filament and Resume. With a Second Process set to take over at that same Layer, printing will continue.

2017年7月19日 — The best way for clear prints is 0% infill. Alternatively you could do a 100% infill and print it hot and slow with no/minimal cooling. Also, the way simplify3d does 100% infill is little weird. Pulling the slider to 100% doesn't actually make it 100%. It still prints an infill pattern just at a real high density.

How do I correctly set up profiles for different filaments?

Basically this means I have to record all my filament settings in a spreadsheet, and enter them manually every time I print: I save profiles for "overall quality" and filament types. Meaning, I have a set of profiles for PLA, another set for flexible, etc.

How can i print a small vase, bottom half pla, top half tpu
2018年10月13日 — hi, thank you, i have the model in .stl format, from my tinkercad. but i want to print the bottom half, about 2/3 of the way up in pla, then ,, i was planning on pausing, changing the filament, and putting in the tpu to print the rest of the way, but obv it needs to be slower, changedretraction, different temps, etc.. you know tpu settings.

2017年10月23日 — With 3 Printers and a lot of different Filament Rolls there was no overwiew and chaos. When I add a new Printer and make the settings for Pla and then the settings for Tpu, most of the Settings (example Retract) change in the whole Profiles like ABS, TPU, PLA and so on. But Retract and many other Settings are very different for TPA and PLA.
