The problem is not due to weakness but the lack of the signal from the nerve getting to the appropriate muscles. You should probably be evaluated for an AFO.

2004年9月14日 — I had some foot drop after a major relapse that left my right side paralysed, 13 years ago. The paralysis slowly resolved but left me weaker on the right side. The foot-drop for about 2 years after the relapse. Sometimes it got a lot worse; it could temporarily worsen for a day or two, but it was always there to some extent for those two years.

Cycling with foot drop. 05-29-2015, 11:11 AM. Hi, im new here & looking for some suggestion or advise. I was active (running & cycling) until about 5 years ago when occasional foot drop forced me to stop these activities. Last week my husband purchased a tantem rode bike so I can get back to an activity I always loved.

2010年11月15日 — A new sx gets my attention, especially if I can foresee danger because of it (not feeling heat = a burn OR excessive drop foot = a fall). A tic, tremor, itch etc. come and go, @ least for me, and don't even register any longer.
Terrible Cramping in Hands, Feet and Calves. Is this a MS Symptom??
2019年5月23日 — All of my toes on that foot have shortened tendons due to spasticity. Spasticity in calves can affect the muscles for the foot which can cause planter fasciitis. This is also something that I have. I have custom Orthotics for both feet. My husband as well as myself massage my feet and toes multiple times a day, I also to stretching exercises.

2010年1月4日 — 08-10-2009, 03:51 PM. week knees. I was dx 1n1980 at the age of 32. Up until 1998 I was independant. I then needed an orthodic for drop foot, then a cane in 2001 and now a walker and scooter for distance. Just the last two years my thigh muscles have declined and I believe it is the ms.
