2015年5月3日 · Yes, M&P sights fit the SDVE perfectly including the Shield sights. Obviously, M&p Bodyguard sights won't but the rest of the M&P handgun sights are interchangeable. Older full-size sights may need some adjustment to their widths if used on a Shield, but the dovetails are identical. Btw, this is not speculation, I own an SDVE.

2021年8月6日 · The dovetail is the same but the Shield slide is thinner so some M&P sights may extend beyond the dovetail on a Shield. The rear sight I linked to in Post 3 comes to about 1/32 of an inch from the edge on each side when centered on the slide.

2016年2月13日 · Page 28 of my new M&P 9 Shield manual advises that only the front sight is adjustable for windage. It suggests using a brass drift(?) or punch, and I assume a hammer, to adjust the sight. Has anyone adjusted the Shield front sight with a punch and hammer? The manual also states that the Shield is a precision instrument.

2016年1月29日 · I've got a MGW (Sig) sight pusher for my P-Series Sig pistols that I bought used for $70. It is a very nice unit. I'm gonna wait a little before I invest in one of these new, small pushers. Maybe they will make one that is designed for the Shield. I'm retired and I can't afford to throw money away on things.

2014年10月5日 · the only M&P I have experience with is the Shield in 9mm and shooting that, I get the best results when the center of the target is completely covered up by the sights (#3) what feels natural to me after shooting other pistols is to do it like (#2), but when I aim like that with the shield I get a lot of low shots.
