A bomb threat was reported on a Vistara Airlines flight that landed at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, from New Delhi.

A bomb threat targeting a Vistara aircraft was declared a hoax after the Nepal Army’s bomb disposal unit found no explosives, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said.

Ten flights from IndiGo and Vistara received bomb threats, prompting immediate security measures and alerts to the relevant authorities.

This wave of threats follows yesterday's incidents where 30 domestic and international flights operated by Indian airlines received bomb threats

The flights of IndiGo, Vistara and Air India were among those that received the bomb threats, the sources in the know said.

Nepal Army conducted a security check on a Vistara flight from Delhi to Kathmandu after a bomb threat, which was later found to be a hoax. All 157 passengers were safely evacuated.
