Not many players will have as good a day that Frank Vatrano had on Sunday. Vatrano agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season with Anaheim and then had two goals and an assist in the Ducks 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Vatrano enjoyed a breakout season last year, hitting the 30-goal mark for the first time while leading the Ducks in multiple categories while earning his first All-Star honor.

For the first time in a long time, the Ducks could be on their way out of rebuild mode. But they aren't quite there yet.
