Hours after recovering the bodies of two men who died searching for Sasquatch, rescuers discovered nearly all of their life-saving equipment had been stolen.

Bedford police rescued three women from the Concord River near the Carlisle Road boat launch area on Saturday.

Officers tossed emergency water and ice rescue disks and rope from shore to make the rescue Saturday afternoon near the boat ramp on Carlisle Street.
