KENT — The Kent State men's basketball team tipped off the Mid-American Conference season today against Ball State at the MAC Center. Kent State entered conference play with a 9-3 record.

KENT, Ohio -- — Jermahri Hill had 18 points in Ball State's 75-67 win against Kent State on Saturday. Hill added five rebounds and six assists for the Cardinals (7-6, 1-0 Mid-American Conference).
