The family of famous popstar Tom Grennan, from Bedford, visited Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge to thank staff who saved Tom’s grandad's life last year.

The Viking King Canute (1016-1035) was given hospitality here, and it was the royal purse that paid for proper brick-built cottages for his host family and the 30 or so other residents in gratitude.
