About 40 people gathered in front of the Rock Island Police Department on Saturday to protest the Jan. 5 shooting death of Jakarta Jackson by a police officer.
Investigators say the warrant, issued Oct. 29 for failing to appear in a misdemeanor case, is why a Rock Island officer pulled over Jakarta Jackson, who was fatally shot by the officer.
Latriece Jackson wants four questions answered from the investigation into the shooting on Jan. 5 in which her 21-year-old brother Jakarta Jackson was shot and killed by a police officer.
