Home Depot has ordered all of its employees, including executives, to perform eight-hour retail shifts per quarter.

Home Depot will be requiring their corporate employees – including the executives and senior management – to work one 8-hour retail shift in a store per financial quarter, according to reports.

Now, all Home Depot employees are required to work one eight-hour shift every single quarter. This is regardless of their job, or whether or not they usually set foot on the sales floor.

Home Depot says it is returning to a longstanding practice of requiring everyone in the company to experience life on the retail front lines.
