Debate over the future of opal mining in New South Wales has continued in recent weeks as the industry continues to reject proposed legislative changes.

Ethiopia has earned USD 16.4 million from the export of non-gold and non-ornamental minerals over the past six months, achieving 73% of its USD 22.4 million target, according to the Ministry of Mines.
