KENTWOOD, Mich. — A man who died in a Kentwood car fire has been identified, according to the Kentwood Police Department. Officers were called to the fire in a parking lot on 28th Street SE, between Arby's and Whole Foods, at about 7:08 p.m. Tuesday.

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — A person died after a vehicle caught fire in a Kentwood parking lot Tuesday night, police said. Around 7:08 p.m., the Kentwood Police Department was called to the parking lot at the corner of 28th Street SE and Radcliff Avenue.

Anthony Ellis, 53, was believed to be homeless and living in the vehicle at the time Kentwood firefighters were called, according to police.
