Google is prepping a solution to stop your Pixel Watch from accidentally calling 911 (APK teardown)

Google could soon release a new Emergency SOS gesture for the Pixel Watch to prevent accidental 911 calls. This new gesture will require users to touch and hold the screen for three seconds after pressing the crown five times to trigger Emergency SOS.

Google may add an extra step when making emergency calls from the Pixel Watch

The good news is that the current method to activate Emergency SOS isn't going away. The code shows that the users will be given an option to choose. In addition, Google will also apparently be revamping the current method by adding a five-second delay before emergency services are contacted, which should mitigate most issues.
