Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango Recalled for ABS Problem
These vehicles were built with an ABS/hydraulic control unit (HCU) module that does not properly sense pressure in the braking system. As a result, it can cause the brake lights to illuminate when the vehicle isn’t braking, or disable the ABS and ESC.

Stellantis announced a recall Wednesday of 207,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs because of an issue that previously required a recall. According to the Associated Press, the recall impacts certain 2018 and 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs that could be equipped with a brake control computer that can falsely read brake pressure.
