Apple has been rumored to announce the new M4 Macs soon, even speculating that the impending announcement may come as soon as next week. Apple’s marketing VP, Greg Joswiak, has now put all those speculations to rest last night by officially confirming on X/Twitter that the next will be an “exciting week of announcements” starting Monday morning.

But Apple has already introduced the M4 chip – it arrived in the latest iPad Pro in May 2024 – so one of the biggest changes in the upcoming Macs has already been known to the world for the last six months. Perhaps that means an event isn’t necessary.

A renowned Apple insider has claimed the Cupertino company is planning on revealing its new line-up of M4-powered Macs within the coming week.
